Hi. I'm starting a project. I'm trying to make a kart made out of 3/4 inch PVC pipe.

My motor is probably going to be a 18 - 24 v. circular saw.

My idea is to take off the nut, blade and shroud and put a spacer on the blade bolt then put the nut back on. I'll put a belt on the spacer to keep it from moving.

I have all the dimensions written out. It'll be kinda' Baja styled.

I have some brakes from a bike that I'm going to put on it.

Any advice you could spare would be appreciated. Thanks!

My advice would be to not use PVC pipe. Members have tried it before and it doesn't work too well. I also think a circular saw would not be strong enough to power a kart with a person on it. Yu could gear it super low, but even then you might only go forward at walking speed.

THIS is how a PVC buggy should be done if you attempt it.

EDIT: And if that was the only "usefull" post you could find on this site....probably means you can't read and most likely means you don't belong here.....so.....JUST GO AWAY......everyone here already has their own butt-hole....and noone here is looking for another. .......
