I just bought my first go kart and it is a project in pieces. Will be bringing it back to life with a GX270 Honda from a pressure washer. The torque converter is currently in pieces in a box. I think it is the original 40 series. Not sure it the shafts will match up or not...
I'm off to go do some searching for equivalent builds. If you know of any similar, please do post a link here.
This is for my boys. 7 years old and 4 years old.
ps. Anybody ever convert a stiff rear end to a suspension rear end? I see where you can buy the rear swing arms. Rear suspension and electric start are my only short comings right now. Electric start I can do for less than $100. Rear suspension can be a year or two later.
