Those welds are still looking a bit short to me......

Where did you get those spindles.....in the back of my mind. ...I vaguely remember someone looking for those........

I was just bout to make a simular comment...

Live axle w/(what looks like) no caster/camber/Ackermann w/ front facing arms?!?!... dont leave the yard if you like turning(it woulda been different if it was a dead axle). Turning will be CONSIDERABLY difficult/different once you hit pavement. High speed turns will be out of the question and I cant even predict the expanse of radius itll take to get it 180* turned.

... after reading the link Fab posted you can check this one out to fix the Achermann, w/out starting over.

I going based on the plans. I tried to see if I could reverse the spindles but this kart is designed to have front steering. I will see once the tires are on what adjustments I will have to make for toe and caster.

Are you using the sizes listed in those plans? Just curious, I have the same plans.

Yes I have not made any changes to the dimensions of the cart from the plans. Its just the right size for my son.
