First kart build!

So I got a frame!... the kids also throughing the motor that was on it. He says that it wont run but if nothin else I can matbe salvage the clutch.

I also have a neighbor that is going to give me either a 8hp or 5.5hp honda. Havent decided which to go with. Than I pretty much just need a throtrle cable and a seat.

Welcome to the forum! That looks like a cool little kart. Just be wary with the 8HP engine, as you might need to buy a 1" clutch for it that would set you back over $100. A TC would be more than that

I dunno, 8hp on a light, single wheel drive kart may be a bit much (unless of course you don't want traction), especially if it does indeed have a 1" shaft; 5.5hp (which I'll assume is a GX160) should do the job fine...
