I was actually planning on sanding it all down completely and repainting it black with a bit of green for the wheels. Are you asking for the frame? Not sure how youd get it, and its my only cart

Nah, I'm offering your kart a starring role in little film project of mine. Still don't know when/how it will go down but the location is in West Virginia. Stay tuned for details.....

Hmm.. Sounds interesting indeed. Tell me what I need to do to the cart then. :D

Other wise, on the previous page, can any one tell me about my problems i've encountered?

sounds like some of those particles got into your new carb, probably keeping the float needle from closing all the way, so even when the float bowl is full - it keeps filling up with gas, overflowing wherever it can go (air filter).

take the carb apart and spray the heck out of it with carb cleaner and an air hose (really hose out all the little needle jets!), then slap a new fuel filter on your fuel line before running any gas through it.

Mega bump: An update on progress now that its warm outside some how. 80 Degrees in January?

I've got about $300 max that Im able to invest in any other parts I need now that i've bought my school books. Just need to get that axle, and tear down the engine and find out why it doesn't work. I'll get new bearings and take it over to my uncles shop to patch up some welds etc soon. I hope to have this running by the spring.

I found out why gas was pouring out of the carb constantly. It wasn't gunky gas or gunky gas tank, it was that the foat wasn't adjusted correctly. So after adjusting the float, the gas didn't leak out and the engine would idle for a good while. But the engine still needs a tune up or something because it runs kinda rough. Might just be that my bolts were loose on the mount to test it. :D

Yeah, It all needs to come off, so I was hoping the vibration would make them even looser. I'm thinking I'll really just have to saw the entire axle off. A new one is only like 30 bucks if im correct.
