I agree... a cheap and effective tool for all sorts of uses.... Noting... it does work but need time to heat things effectively...... It isnt an acetylene torch......or has oxy...
still... a necessary item....

A side note- I have the above and also a plumbing brazing turbo torch head, with a hose meant to fit(the buddy or skinny propane bottle) and a regular #20 bottle.... works great and no need to frequently change little bottles because there empty....

I think I've figured out what's causing the chain to rub. I'm using a half link which I believe may be an incorrect size.

Not to pick apart you kart but looks identical to mine but some of your roll cage seems to be missing? Might be a slightly different style.

That's the same model... very nice kart Gunner!! Hopefully ours will look half as decent when complete.

As for the roll cage, it was missing when we picked it up. We do have the rear portion of the cage but not the front.

Thank you..been a project everything is new except the frame and still not done i ordered a bunch of goodies from GPS , this winter im tearing it down and extending the frame 6".i can see why yerf dog is out of business cheaply made karts

That may explain the picture below. I wasn't sure if the frame was repaired or extended. The same exact welds are visible on the lower bars as well if you look closely. Leads me to believe it was indeed extended.

Yes that has definitely been extended, my frame dont look like that but that's where im cutting mine, hope for your sake they did it right and put smaller tube inside where they welded it for added strength

Im doing mine right by the seat so it saves me material with the floor pan and getting rif of the rods and going to use cable

MTNSleder you da man!!! Picked up a #41 chain and it worked perfectly. No need to change the 60 tooth sprocket that I got form GPS as it accommodates various chain sizes.
