Hey everyone, I am looking to build a shifter kart with top speeds around 60 mph or so. I'm trying to build it as fast as possible, project with my dad, because I am going off to college. If anyone has access to plans they have used that would be awesome. I have been looking everywhere and really dont want to pay for plans. Thanks.

i think paying for plans is proberly the only way to go if u want a decent kart

if you found a pic of a racing cart frame you liked you could make one of your own and have a 6+ hp engine with no gov and a tc, that could prob hit 60 and still burn tires. only downside is that theres no shifting, of course thats only bad if you like shifting. if you realy like shifting you could do the above but instead of tc you could get an atv engine with a manual shift or somthin. good luck

thats realy you choice atv engines may have a lttle more low end torque but you should probably getwhat easyest to work with
