First full project with my son

This is the first project kart me & my 10 y/o son did.
It was just a rusty frame when we started. It's been going for about 3 months & now & since then a circle track has "appeared" in the backyard.
We have a lot of fun on it together & so does half the neighborhood,lol.

Excellent, glad you're having fun. You've got "crop circles" too, eh?:roflol:

We ended up letting the grass get too long, and mowing a track.

My back yard isn't huge so you can pretty much drift it sideways a big part of the track. The kart pushed the dirt up in the big ends & now they are "banked" so you can carry full speed into them. It takes around 10 sec. per lap. Best time is 9.1 sec. We put a Powerhorse 208 on it btw.
The only prob. is the bump that that show up..... man I could use some shocks on that thing!
I'll try to post some pic's of the track, pretty funny.

very cool! i wish my dad did stuff like this with me when i was a kid. im going to make sure when I have one (hopefully a son) I do these kinds of things with him
