that's what I thought it looked like, huh, guess I've just got to keep looking for it.
got the oil out of the cylinder but haven't refilled it yet. hopefully will have a couple bottles of oil by tomaro so we can drive it!
something came loose in the carb and now we have no throttle control. also it won't stop. can't shift to neutral and the clutch only partialy works. I kept almost running into things because I couldn't get the engine off and I was running it inside. is the belt hooked to the engine to tight or something?
the throttle lever came disconnected from the internals and we haven't taken it apart yetwell if you have no throttle control then follow the cable to the engine and see how it's connected or was connected and fix it.
brake and clutch are the same on this mower and even if I stand up on it the mower only slows. To shift you need to first apply the brake and stop the mower then move the gear lever to neutral.
the problem was that the screw driver we've been using to turn the key switch fell on the floor and if I got off it would have driven into the wall.If the engine won't turn off you could always pull the spark plug if turning the key off doesn't kill it.
it's definitely annoying. there's a couple guys who don't do anything and tell everyone what should happen after they ask someone what should be done next.It sounds like a real mess in that shop with so many ppl messing with things.
