so with the fourth of july approaching how many of you are pyrotecnics (dont think i spelled that right) at heart. i know i LOVE LOVE fireworks and spend way to much each year.... in NE bottle rockets are illegal but who cares they are sooo fun...

just thought it would be fun to talk about this cause this is 2 to me behind go karts

we drive out to ohio every year and buy the most illegal fireworks we can get, my dad was in the military so it says that hes still stationed at in kentucky and they go with it, so we come home with bottle rockets m 80's mortors and all of it and i do enjoy being a pyro im always blowing something up

My whole family loves fireworks we live in New York so they are illegal but we are close enough to the PA border that we take a family trip down every year and stock up for the fourt of july. we usally get a couple hundered dollars worth this year we went the day after my 18th birthday and i was able to buy my own . i plan on takning another trip with a couple of my friends in about a week or so too we always go to a nice family owned shop in tioiga and they always have low prices and they are just great people to deal with plus for a family owned place they are still have a ton of fireworks.

What the heck do you find in PA!? I live here and only ground based stuff is legal. You can't legally buy bottle rockets or anything that flies here. I have had some good times with roman candles and super sized bottle rockets...the kind on 3' sticks!

Has anyone ever taken water proof cherry bombs on the beach at night and gone "fishing" with them? Just wade out into a few inches of water, light, and toss.

That's sort of what happened to me. We were firing off fireworks and someone who was slightly inebriated decided it would be funny to chase us with a lit roman candle. It wasn't funny then, it is now, you know how that works. The part that made it worse was that they were labeled as 5 shot candles, yet they all only fired 4, so there was some hoping involved when you dropped it after 4 shots.

once i had an old toy whined up mustang. i ripped its roof off and taped 2 texas bottle rockets to it. it flew down the road hit a bump and flew into the air. to this day i still haven't found that thing.

also i was with my friends at a farm and we saw a drum of water. so we lit an m-80 tossed it in and we all looked directly down over top of it.... we where depth for atleast 5min after

and one time i was told to go get the fire crackers. well on the way back out they asked did you get them? i lied and said no i got the smoke bombs. so i lit a firecracker tossed it on the ground. my freind thought he would lean over it to pic it up. the look on his face when that thing went off was priceless.

and when me and my brother had a giant smoke bomb shaped like a firecracker i read it and it says "emits smoke" so after i lit it as it stoped smoking i went to pic it up. apparently it was shaped like a giant firecracker for a reason. lol scared the **** out of me.

i love explosives lol.

Make a trip to the Indian Res and get what ever you want. Oregon is illegal state for fireworks. So if you live in Oregon you have to go to Washington State. The best deals are on Indian land for they have there own laws.

When I was a kid I seen my dad fill a ballon with his cutting torch gas. We he set that thing off? I till you what. It was really loud. Anyone else ever seen this done?

when i was 4 or 5 we were at a friends hose and we were trying to do botle rockets in a little bottle instead of a two liter, the bottle dropped after i lit it, turned back hit me in the chest and as far as i can remember it didnt hurt, but i was passed out, i woke up in the hospital on a breathing machine
