We have been treated to some spectacular sunrises here lately. Those of you that live in the land of eternal sunshine (or eternal clouds) may not know what yer missing. These things are hard to capture on the old Kodak "brownie". Even more difficult, it involves getting up early!

Thankfully nc is not a land of eternal sun or clouds, and we get beautiful sunsets. Our sunrises are mostly fireballs. Great picture.

Great picture . Love it. For sure that is the DIFFICULT part, getting up early. I saw it for 45 years. Don't do that much any more.

Yep sure! there are subtle differences. Since the left brain morons that run the state have decided that proper forest management is a waste of state dollars, when those dollars can be given to left brain voters errr ahhh I mean disadvantaged people that don't want to work, we have experienced several catastrophic fires in the last few years.The latest, a couple a years ago when half the state was on fire looked like this:
