hey guys, Just joined this forum today and would like to share what I have finished yesterday. I made a kart about 1 year ago and left it with a broken engine. recently I bought a gx160 clone and mounted it. here is the finished build, welded most of the parts with 2 12v in series xD. it goes about 37km/h but has tons of torque and has a jackshaft.

That's an interesting looking kart, Julian.

I have never seen anything quite like it. You built it from the ground up yourself?

What are those metal pieces hanging from the back of the seat for?

:welcome2:..to the forum!

I really like your kart, simple and straightforward. I'd love to build five of those for the kids.

The main frame was bought ages ago and then I added the steering, seat, rear axle etc. The pieces hanging from the back are just waiting for me to cut them off, they where golding the gas tank for my previous engine. its a pretty unique kart and Its hella fun to ride offroad, I haev already broken the back engine mount while going offroading so im gonna weld a new thicker mount this week.
