Mechanically, it's nothing fancy, but it is really nice to look at! And that's really all that counts for a couple of little girls' go kart.

Very nice! I was born in Lawton, my dad was stationed at Ft Sill some time ago, we're some of the coolest dad's these days hooking up our daughters with gas engine powered entertainment!

I sold this Go Kart this weekend for $500. I bought a welder and some tools, and now I'm working on a free frame.

That kart turned out Beautiful. Someone has a nice ride for $500 bucks

I'm all about that quick nickel, versus the slow buck. It only took about 2 hours to sell after posting it. It cost $150, then put about $200 in it. The profit paid for my new welder set up, so I'm happy.

Looks like a Murray kart. Have the same one we're getting ready to restore.

Yeah, it's a Murray. They're pretty common.

How do you find axle replacements if these are so common?. The attached pictures show the one that I'm currently restoring. It's a very long axle and everything is already 3/4" for the brake drum and sprocket hub. I was able to find custom sized bearings but could not get the axle in the link that I needed in that size. Had to order a custom grind from a 1 inch stock and step down the ends so it would work.

That's not the same model as mine. Looks very similar, but it's different. Mine was a Murray Explorer. Yours is a Murray Nitrox.
