Finally finished my Reverse Trike

Got the pictures, finally. Hits about 45mph and will accelerate great. Also has a cool engine start/stop button right of the seat which is a pretty cool feature.

nice build!, i don't think it will be a problem but you may want to read this http://gokartguru.com/metal_frame_go_kart.php you have some amount of support but thats one long frame, the suspension should also make support less needed because it the shocks will absorb the bumps

Great job man, I'd like to concur with Fowler a bellypan would be a fantastic idea, broken legs are not cool. The other constructive suggestion I have for you would be better front wheels, what you have there are cheap dolly wheels and have a tendency to snap on turns.

Have you gps clocked it to that top speed? That engine does look like it has the ability to get up and go pretty well.

I don't think strength is too much of a problem as the mild steel has pretty thick walls, however a floor may be a good idea. I'll get a precise top speed gps reading soon and report back, but like I said I would be surprised if it didn't hit 45mph. Also better, bigger wheels would be ideal for that power, however a mate gave these for free, so I accepted them and that was that I guess.
