If you pop off a belt, you either bought the wrong belt or bent your JS to he//. Carry a spare belt and some basic tools. You will need tools to get the new one on. If your snap your chain, then you have issues. But you could always carry a spare chain cut to the right length in your little kart tool box.

Haha, Well I PICK THIS UP TOMORROW! so i'm pretty siked! Right off the bat, I found out more info. He's been starting the engine daily, so hasn't been sitting for ever. Aswell as It has no breaks! So i'm going to need help from you guys once I can get a full review, PLUS HD 1080p Video of it, with pictures, too. clutch needs replacing and something about the rims barrings being shot? The engine has an air filter on it, HE said he doesn't know how much HP it is, Ill check for any model number ect ect. once I get it. I'm a bit afraid tho. This guy seems sketchy to me... But Maybe im just paranoid, I'm not going to pick it up alone either, An adult - i'm 17 - and my friend - hes 17 aswell - are all going together. But Is it easy to convert an engine from using chain/ To use belt? Also I found out I got about 90 dollars after I pay for it. Will this supply me with enough money for New Clutch, Rims, AND breaks?

Good that you're bringing help along, especially if the seller seems a bit dodgey.

$90 ought to get you pretty far if you shop carefully. If it doesn't take you all the way, be patient. How long have you been without a kart? What's another few weeks if you need to earn a few more dollars, right?

What's this about converting from chain to belt? Why would you want to? If your bidget is tight and it's already set up for chain components, stay with it.

Idk, You have a valid point on the chain to belt idea.

I'm hoping that what ever is wrong with the clutch won't need it to be fully replaced and its just a spring or something like so. breaks, I wouldn't even know were to start ! he doesn't even have the old ones! so nothing to compare to anything. yeah, there's lots of job wanted for like video editing and power point making on craigslist. I'm very good at both! so Maybe that's a decent way of picking up an extra dollar.
