This website is better than facebook. I was on facebook for a few months last year, then canceled my account. Facebook sucks.

I've noticed that there are ways to select a sampling of people, and you end up with different kinds of people. I used to read an RC airplane forum, but there were too many self-proclaimed intellectuals. RC car groups have a bunch of idiots who argue all day. The harmonica forum I used to read had just a little bit too low of an average IQ. The saxophone forum was too arrogant. I just wanted you guys to know that this go-kart forum is just about the best group of people I've found in my 15 years on the net. This group is made up of men of action, unconcerned about their image, competently handling tools and building machines, all in the name of a good time. I also like the fact that there are teenagers here who know more about tinkering than most adults I've met. Compared to DIY go karts, facebook is a total waste of time.

I do like this site more than facebook. The main reason i have a facebook is so i can keep up with my family in VA
