Pretty good little motivational vid. I do agree that mistakes are integral parts in learning and development... AS LONG AS-
They're not stupid mistakes. The difference?
Honest mistake- Over-torqueing head bolts thinking that tighter is better. Result- Bolts break, engine blows its lid, you learn to follow specs.
Stupid mistake- Attempting to sky an on-road kart without cage or helmet. Result- You blow your lid, and maybe you don't learn anything because you're dead...

I just took the time to watch that and it was really good. It reminded me of something I was told a year or so back whenever I was struggling through a baseball season. "The very best players failed 6 out of 10 times. There are guys who failed 7 out of 10 times and they are in the Hall of Fame. Baseball is a game of who can handle failure the best." It worked to boost my confidence and I turned it around.
