You're harrasing me. I didn't even ask for your assistance.

By posting a thread asking questions on a forum that I am a member of. Yes, you asked! Harassing you? I don't think so. I started reading your thread. Read a few posts and thought wow this guy doesn't know squat. Then I see good standing members sharing the correct advice and you'll have none of it. Like I asked before. WHY DID YOU POST? Actually put some thought into it. You came here on your own. Nobody brought you. If you won't listen to advice don't ask! I was not harassing you. I was telling you the reality of the situation. Truth hurts bro. If you want to ask the questions AND have all the answers buy a pen and a notebook to write it in. We don't need a dog and pony show here. Lots of people actually come here for help, I believe you are only here to share your daydreams. Must make you feel good to daydream about magical horsepower adders. You were only here for reassurance of your bad ideas. You came to the wrong place! I'd much rather hurt someones feelings than to leave them in their garage with a huge pile of failed ideas or even worse reassure the bad ideas they have and let them get hurt. Anyway. Wasted enough of my time on you. Off to someone who wants to learn something.

Ok, so my idea wasn't so great. Thanks for the advice. I'll have to start thinking up a new build with that advice in mind. Can a mod please close this thread?

A friend of my mine lost his right arm below the elbow about 3 yrs ago and got a big settlement. One day he calls me up and says he needs to barrow my right hand . My responce was filled with colorful words and a big question mark. He laughs and says " I want to build a s-10 that I can do wheelies in'. I told him cool as long as I can do wheelies too. So we built it . He comes from long line of master gearheads and I've got a right hand. So we make good team.

I think his best 8th was high 6's @ 100+ . That truck was the scariest thing I have drove . And I'd do it again right this minute. He wrecked it last year .The motor will live on in a bog truck. He is in the middle of a messy divorce so it is on hold. I think he is going to use a Willys Flatfender that belonged to his grandpa. Heavy of the modifications of course.
I had a lot more pics ,including the build , on my lap top that was stolen at the Perry Boggin back in October. I wish I had backed all my files.

My main objective is not plowing the snow. The cart is supposed to carry some friends to help shovel. The snow plow was just an idea. Let's just get back to the debate of a suitable sprocket ratio for such a heavy cart. Is 10 to 48 good with a 16HP.

Short answer - NO. Long answer - you are going to need to gear extremely low to plough snow. Round 10:1 or lower.

I am going to close this thread, as it has gotten too heated, and has been pointless from the start
