I have been duck hunting since i have been 10yrs and what do you need a quiet motor for because where i am from you can't shoot from a moving boat??? Oh what kind of ducks do you hunt and what style of boat do you have ???

Just run it down the shaft and into the water. That is what a reg boat motor does.

Ok I Run a Carolina skiff with a custom made fiberglass top . I hunt sea duck ,shore birds, and normal ducks ( I love shooting snow and Canadian geese right out the sky)..... It sounds like you run the swamp areas ???

i dont shoot them wile they sleep we sneek up on them at like 5am they wake up around 630 7ish an they start to take off. in michigan you cant shoot them on the water or wile the boat is moving. we run mostly rivers an swamps

Running the end of the pipe down underwater is probably as quiet as it is going to get.

hmmmm. trolling motor. use the main motor to get close. then use the trolling motor when your near by.
