Ever used one of these?

Wondering if anyone has tried one of these. Need a good place to pull a pulse for my modified Predator Hemi 6.5. Dont really want to drill into the cast aluminum valve cover. Yet I dont see where you would get much of a pulse pull from this where it is just at the air intake. Any thoughts on this fitting??

It should work if it made for your engine. The way it works it when the engine does its intake stroke it pulls in air creating a vacuum operating your pulse pump

That is a quick and easy way to get a strong pulse. As stated if it will fit your engine. Another way, if you have removed the govr'n, drill and tap the govr'n hole for a 1/8 npt with either a 3/16 and or /1/4 hose barb fitting.

If you have a billet rod, you will have removed the oil sensor, and the place where the wire passes through the block would likely work if you loop the hose up so oil doesn't run down and collect in your pump.

Im trying to avoid any chance of oil getting into the line. This adapter seems nice if it is sure to pull a good pulse.

UPDATE.......
I did purchase the adapter and it works great. If anyone in wondering about getting one, it is a nice clean look also.

How much longer for the carb bolts do they need to be?

I got away with stck carb bolts. Just unscrew them out of the block a little to make them a little longer. I will post a pic of it for ya tomorrow
