Im going to do it but I'm not sure the best way to get the cable to mount to the choke. I want to make it pull-to-choke and have the choke nob pushed in while running normal.

Any Ideas?

You can also find them at Tractor Supply in the tractor parts. If they don't have a z bend you can make one with some pliers but a z bend tool is a good cheap investment to keep in your tool box.

You will need a solid cable, so you can push pull.
Look on Ebay they are sold often as wheel horse cables.

The solid cable has a Z bend in it so you can easily attach it to the choke.

Thanks for that link. A solid cable is definitely the way to go but I need one that is at least 72" I have a long cable but it is stranded cable so I'll either have to make a strong spring return, or loosen up the choke lever somehow. Its going on a 420cc BTW.

Im wondering if there is a way to put it directly on the butterfly shaft....

72" is a little harder to find. Both my karts however have them. I was told they are a Boat throttle. *shrugs* But that may be the place to search, boat throttles are usually push pull.

You can put the choke on the floor by the front of the seat. Don't make it too complicated, just drill a small hole in the center of the choke lever, then attach choke cable to the engine pull start shroud.

I actually have some old Teleflex boat control cables. They look like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/11-FT-Quick...ash=item5d6ed8c052:g:7-cAAOSwdGFYyXiu&vxp=mtr

Seems too beefy for a Kart. Is that what you're talking about?

I appreciate the links! I spend hours looking for stuff on ebay. Not sure why I missed that....
