What diameter axle are you running?Does anyone know if anything like this is available? Or am I looking at something I will have to custom machine/produce?
Looking for a euro 3 lug or american 3 lug to 4x4 hub adapter.
Thanks in advance.
Currently running a 40mm axle. Chassis is a mid 2000's Birel R32.What diameter axle are you running?
Thanks. Chinese 3 bolt might be an option. I'll need to do a little more research in terms of available wheel options for that particular bolt pattern. This link is the closest I've seen to an adapter, and it's just from some 3-bolt pattern Chinese rims to American Racing's 3-bolt racing hubs............

Ok, so you want to install 4 on 4" bolt-circle patern golfcart or funkart rims on your racekart then, right?Currently running a 40mm axle. Chassis is a mid 2000's Birel R32.

I've seen that done before, but his racekart wouldn't turn very sharp afterwards, because the taller front tires contacted the frame and front bumper at like only 1/3 of the karts original turning radius. And running additional offset would result in additional stress to the front Spindles and frames Spindle mounts, especially if you'll be riding in bumpy offroad situations...
Front hubs shouldn't be a problem, but finding rear hubs or adaptors are gonna be tricky.
You could make your own adaptors by simply cutting the center out of old racekart rims that perfectly fit your stock 3-bolt rear hubs, then all you'd need to do is accurately drill 4 holes on a 4" bolt-circle pattern.
Or you could check out the Part# 'MCP 140' Rear Brake Hub made for 40mm. axles:

Might be a longshot but you could call/email them and ask if these hubs happen to be made for rotors with 4" (or 101.6mm.) bolt-circle patern...

Cool, I have some new Ideas for you; but I just noticed you said your bolt patern is Euro 3x58. ~ I raced karts for quite awhile and never heard of that size. But I have ran across European racekarts set up for running US bolt-patern rims.
I'm a big fan of 6" gokart rims because that's the biggest ones that come in split rims, which of course require innertubes, but also do not require fighting with your teeth and nails to change or leak repair tires on a 1-piece rim or getting a tire shop to do it for you.Easy solution would be to just get some american 3 lug hubs + 6" wheels + 15x6-6 tires.
The reason I'm looking at 4x4 hubs is to expand tire options.
10-4, If you don't find or end up building your own adaptors: Douglas and Williams both make various widths & offset of 17mm-spindle mount & 3-bolt metric 6" diameter rims for the European Superkart classes, and for guys here in the states trying to race their Sprintkarts on oval tracks.
