Eugene, Oregon Restarting

Hey guys, I was on here a couple years ago. The kart I designed got stolen last June and now my boys and I are getting started on another on. Going with plans this time, the arachnid. Going to put a beefy engine on and finish with safety stuff, like a freakin seatbelt. We're almost finished with the frame (extended). Anyway, looking forward to it. I'm sure when we're done with this, about a week later my boys will want to get a sandrail and play Mad Max in the desert.

I'll be posting here with a few noob questions. Thanks in advance.

Yup, welcome back. There are lots of good threads on the forum of people who have build the arachnid. Have a good read, cos I know that there are some design problems that they had that you will have to overcome as well. Apparently their plans are not so great in some areas. It also seems as if everyone has extended the frame as well. I don't think there is one builder who has left the plans at stock length
