Hey all! I have a question for anyone with knowledge about tires. Currently on the front of my go-kart I have a set of balding 145/70-6 knobby tires, but as the go-kart is being used more and more exclusively on pavement I'm looking avoid the knobby tires and go for a set that are more appropriate for the street. Can anyone point me in the right direction for finding a tire of the correct dimensions? Also, if I am using the kart on the street, am I looking to get ribbed tires? sawtooth tires? I'm curious as to what would be best as a long-lasting street tire.

I like the turf saver tires. 15x6x6. The nice part is the measurement. the are 15 tall and 6 wide go on a 6" tall rim. So you can measure your 145/70 and see if you can find a similar sized turf saver.

Thanks everyone for their input! Hursty and chancer, it sounds like a 15x6x6 will fit? I havent quite decided on turf savers vs slicks, but the Walmart idea sounds like a good one for finding both kinds of tires.
