Hey all

Thinking about putting a 5hp enigne on my kart,

But the only thing is i dont think it will have any power.

Sorry to state the obvious but, it will have 5hp... Engine power is but one factor in building a good kart, you also need to consider kart size/weight, gearing, tyre size...

Post some pick of your kart so we can guage how it will go...

That was written for flathead (L head) engines. What motor are you going to use? I'm working on a thread for Predator motors, I'm sure some of that info will work for other clones.


BTW, 5 hp will be enough to have fun. I've got a 5hp flatty on my kart.
