I dont have any calipers but i used a wrench and then measured the jaws of it and got 10mm, but their is about 2mm gap when i put the bearing on and just wondering if its suppose to be like this?

Macfarlane, you really need to learn to type properly and not be so antagonistic.

So is there suppose to be this much play then? I can wiggle about the bearing a fair bit left to right on the actual shaft, but on the threaded part the bearing fits fine - i thought bearings were suppose to fit snugly?

Ok so i got some calipers and measured the pin shaft at 9mm and the full daimeter of the bearing at 26mm - the side diameters ( 7.5mm x 2 = 15mm ) = 11mm, so yeah looks like there is a 2mm gap.

edit---------

For the frame will 40mm x 40mm x 2.5mm Mild Steel be ok?

The code is on the link i posted - code 6000zz, on the actual bearings it reads - 6000z. And i will be using the Sealey MIGHTYMIG100.
