engine wont start

hello everyone i have a 1230a yerf dog and it had a leak so i took almost the whole entire engine part to find it and fix it.it is a 5hp tecumseh the stock one.after doing this it wont start,i pluged everything back to where it had come from.i noticed that before i took it apart the thing that gets pulled inside by the pull start used to slightly rub on the plate that the spark plug is connected to.so i took it apart again and put it all back together and they dont rub anymore,i would like some help on getting it back running

Pics or proper nomenclature would help oodles.
Sounds like magneto (CDI) is to blame and/or faulty reassembly. I suspect the latter.
