Depending on the TC you can get a 6.5 hp blue motor for $100 or less brand new, they make a little over 8hp at 5200 or so RPMs(you should get a billet flywheel for $100 before removing the governor). I need pics of your current set up.

that means a bit over 8hp for $200

take that money and go shopping for a used 2 cycle engine. you might spend a bit more. but in the end youll have more hp and youll have a gearbox making it even more useful. sell the tc to help pay for the extra you might spend w/ a 2stroke

Yea, a dirt bike motor would make a good choice IF there is room enough in the cockpit for a shifter, clutch can be a paddle or lever on the steering wheel if the steering column prevents moving the brake over and installing a clutch pedal. Your also gonna need a welder to fab new mounts.

hey bucky, im doing a change over from a 6.5 to 16hp,and im have a trouble myself,,,,biggest problem is torque converter set up,
make sure u have the correct rating for horse power!!!!
