Hey out there- I was wondering if anyone has had this type of problem- My gokart has a GY6 150cc engine. If I spray starting fluid into the airfilter box the engine will crank right up. But as soon as you let your foot off the gas peddle it will start to sputter and shut down. I have taken the carb apart and cleaned the jets-which looked good,not much gunk in them. I adjusted the idle screw but no help. Spark plug is clean. New fuel filter. Not sure what else to check. Any advise would be great. Thanks.

idle circuit is plugged, you gotta make sure the passageways in the carb are really clean, compressed air works great
you can try soaking it in carb cleaner that can loosen up the crud
