Ok we've been running the kart around the house for the last week or so now, its pretty **** fast ! Its a older style vintage frame with a kohler k181, 15 teeth direct drive, live axle, 85 teeth sprocket, 15" rear wheels. The chains been falling off and I noticed the thin mounting plate was bending upward and the bolts are loosening and stripping threads. Im gonna cut off the thin mounting plate and weld on a thicker larger plate that wont bend and bolt the engine down correctly and then it will be much more fun ! Also Im thinking about using the aluminum tank that I have and mounting it under the steering column and using a a fuel pump, the tank that Im currently using is half *** mounted and its a problem.
