Okay so i have a 6.5 hp motor now i have the option to get a 12hp lawn mower engine what would i have to do? Is it worth it? Is it going to be a difference? Is it going to be pricey?

Depends- is your 6.5hp a horzontal shaft? Is the "mower" engine a vertical? If you answer yes to both questions, then it's not going to be an easy task.

Do a forum search on vertical shaft to horizontal shaft conversions. Check YouTube too. The info is out there.

Also keep in mind that the vertical shaft engine will most likely have a 1" PTO, requiring you to buy a more expensive 1" clutch or CVT. For some reason, 1" drive components tend to be a fair bit pricer than the more common 3/4" counterparts. Be prepared to lose some cash.
