Engine Help

Hello everybody,
I am in the middle of building my go kart, and think it is time to order an engine. I am debating between two engines, the fist the 6.5 Greyhound engine, that I would buy used, and the second engine the 7hp Duromax engine. Which engine, or engine do you recommend around this price range, do you guys think is better for a 6:1 ration kart that is looking to get a good high end speed.

Why not just buy a 212cc predator new with a warranty?

Also what makes you think these engines are different (other than the brand names)?

What gave you that gear ratio? Post pictures of your set-up and wheels.

Does anybody else think that the predator would be better than the Duromax even though that has a higher horsepower?

the predator to my knowledge with just a few simple tweaks can be made to have more power than the duro. and with .5 hp i dont think you notice that much of a different
