i wish there was an option to default this to instant, otherwise i get this every week at midnight sunday.

just kind of annoying to change it 50 times aday

There is. I set mine so I don't get any, just go through your settings, you'l find it.

no i mean i want to get them so i know to reply to people but not sunday night at midnight. just as they come in.

Yeah, you can make it do that, that's what I said.

Go into your control panel.

Go to "Edit Options" in the "settings and options" section.

Go to the part about subscriptions.

Select instant email notification.

That's it, done.
