electromotor for kart

Hey guys, im planning to build a go cart and i found electromotor, its pretty big and it works on 24v, 2.5A with 3000rpm but power is only 25w, so i dont know would that motor be good for kart, i know that power is way too low but im confused that big motor has low power, or is it any way to increase its power somehow

my guess is your drill battery isnt 10AHr.... it might deliver 10A, but it will be dead in minutes....

PS for a lightweight kids kart as little as 200W can be enough, full grown you should have ~1000W to enjoy it at least a bit (still lightweight) you may want to go massive (7-10kW) until it gets ridiculously expensive more about the topic here

simple answer, Yes...
the batteries could run it at maximum speed... without a load attached...
put it on a Kart of some type and it probably will not.

that's this much power:

(1200 HP)
and this much power:

(446 HP)

combined in one tiny package...
