Sometime I want to put electric start and a light bar on my go kart. How do I wire this up? I've looked several places but the instructions there are very complicated. Is there a simple cheap way to set it up? Also is this battery good enough for electric start and lights and will last quite a while and not die? Battery YTX4L, Sealed - GoPowerSports.com And would this light work? Amazon.com: Nilight LED Light Bar Set, 12 Inch 300W Triple Row Spot Flood Combo Work Driving Lamp, 2 Pcs 4 inch 60 W Triple Row Flood Spot LED with Wiring Harness for Off road ATV Boat Lighting, 2 Year Warranty : Automotive
It doesn't look to bad

I just installed the electric start kit on my 212...there are NO instructions with the kit at all. I watched the 5-6 available u tube videos
( done by adults), and made notes on each one...then compared notes and determined which color met which color. I think "red beard garage" was probably the best. in fact each wire from the starter kit has a specific wire end ( ala female, male, loop, etc) that cannot be mixed up if your careful.
My confusion came when I wanted to put the starter switch close to the steering wheel, and had to extend the wiring about 3-4 feet. I had to remove the ends, solder the extensions, and then replace my extensions with the correct end piece ( male, female, loop, etc)
But......I got it done, and the starter cranked correctly on the first try.

I do not see that battery lasting long with the lights. I think it will discharge fairly quickly without a good charging system.

The charging coil that comes with the 212 starting kit is just barely enough to keep the battery full...Denny is right. There is a more powerful coil you can get for about an additional $20.00 that specifically is geared to lights. and it bolts right in the same position, do some google deep searching and you'll find them. I just never was interested cause I don't intend to ride at night.

Got a 200 amp hours 12 volt motorcycle battery from the Walmart for about $50.00....best deal I could find....it's a standard wet battery, not gel...Rather have a gel , but they were closer to $100.

The starter kit I bought off Amazon......First, Though I checked all the reviews to see who was better to deal with.....they appear to be all mostly made or put together by the same chinese people.
BY THE WAY THERE IS ONLY 1 MAKER WHO MAKES A STARTER KIT FOR THE HEMI.....MOST ALL KITS ARE FOR NON-HEMI......CHECK FIRST !

There is one american company who sells AND SUPPORTS their products...Google up "V POWER" they also sell the larger coils for lights.
V Power's kit is $120.00 without lighting coil ( charging coil only )

Here's a V Power Equipment link for the electric start kit for the Predator 212 hemi #60363. It explains that you can get a lighting coil set for it to run lights, but the output is only 35 watts. You linked a set of lights that totals 420 watts.
Predator 212cc Electric start kit 60363 (vpowerequipment.com)
This link is for the 35 watts coils only, and it explains that the coils run directly to the lights, so they don't drain the battery. Without a charging coil for the battery then, it would have to be recharged periodically. A float charger would just keep it charged all the time.
lighting coil set for the Predator 212cc with the electric start kit installed (vpowerequipment.com)
You might be better off to just skip getting the lighting coils, stay with the battery charging coil already in the electric start kit, and just getting a much higher amp/hour battery that would last a good while running lights in addition to its starting duties. A float charger during downtimes would recharge the battery back up to full power.
Thanks to redflash for the info on V Power.

You might also check out a generator/alternator for a golf cart. Those are small in size, but generally charge enough to run lights, radios, etc. I even thought about mounting a keyed pulley on the axle so it would charge when being driven. It wouldn't charge all of the time...however, most carts don't typically spend a lot of time just sitting and idling. Just a thought.

It seems to me that replacing the battery will bring much less trouble. Especially if you aren't completely sure about the ideas about the final desired result. Or you aren't the best electrician, like me too :) It's a shame to imagine how long it'd take me to choose the optimal coil if I didn't immediately understand the functionality of the LED strip https://www.vont.com/product/smart-strip-lights -led-strip-lights/. Moreover, the battery seems to be a more universal thing. If you invest in it, you may find other uses for it later.
