Project I wanted to do for years! Built using a junk target brand longboard and an old Razor E300 scooter. Goes about 12mph which is freak fast for this guy. Is able to get up most hills and has a run time of about an hour. I put around 25 miles on this thing in one day, just carry the charger around and charge whenever you can.
This thing is a real head turner and was a huge hit at the local board shop.
The new inventive twist I put on this is that the frame with the wheel and motor is connected to the board using two 3 inch springs. This allows for constant traction over speed humps and on gravely terrain. It makes it seem like there is nothing behind you which allows for a normal feel, just as if you where riding a kick longboard..
Honestly one of the coolest things I've made, made my friends all jealous and never had to pump my legs again.... It's only missing one thing... BREAKS
