Electric scooter to 50cc 2-stroke scooter (pics)
So me and my friend found this electric scooter in the trash, all the elecs and the batteries were fried. And we had a 50cc motor layin around from the moped I ****ed up a couple years back. So we made up a few mounts, took the wheel with the sprocket all ready on it from the aforementioned moped, and hooked that up.
The wheel is much smaller than the original, so it rides real low, not really a problem since we only street ride it, but pretty annoying.
I need to find a better place to mount the gas tank, loctite the engine bolts, add brakes, and get a stiffer spring for the chain.
Once or twice the rear axle has come loose and the rear wheel fallen off while riding, which is scary to say the least, is it OK to use loctite on the bolts on the rear axle, and will this fix my problem?
I also have a sweet exhaust for it, but I can't put it in till i get some loctite because it keeps loosing and bolts fall out.
