yes, im back. found 2 electric scooters in the garbage the other day. no charger and one has a frame that will be un useable.

my first real question is, anyone know where to get a sproket? i looked and cannont find one that is in #35 chain pitch. only #25.

i am going to make it gas, have most of the other stuff already figured out but this one has me by the testies. :roflol:

btw its like a scoot n go electric scooter. pics to follow.

havent decided on motor, i think the 5 hp motor i have will be to much for the frame rear end and what not, i have a 3hp briggs but it has the small tank and a belt pull stuck on the shaft.

as for sprokets, i want to use the mounting on the tire already, it free wheels when not being used like a bike wheel, so i need it to bolt to that. here is the sproket on it now. http://www.electricscooterparts.com/sprockets.html 65 Tooth Rear Sprocket For #25 Chain With Rear Wheel Freewheel Mechanism
5-1/4" OD, 1-3/8" ID. Fits 1-3/8" OD threaded electric scooter and bike wheel hubs.

This reminds me, I took a radioflyer wagon, and put the scooter motor and batteries on it, Really fun project, I later converted it to a trike, it ran 25. An idea for ya.
Well, I didnt notice you were converting to gas, But you could always use the electric stuff for the wagon as a side project!
Especially if you converted the front wheels to actually steering, then till used the pull handle to steer, but with the the grips mounted on them, That would be cool.
