I doubt it, you probably need a large electric motor...but I am not into electrics so wait for someone else

Thanks, I calculated the watts and it is 960, so 40 less than they say, but according to the wb page the volts are 120, so higher.

You can see the cord behind the handlebar. Also says it runs on 120v 60hz with 8 amps, sounds like standard household current to me! DC would be more like 24 to 72 volts with 12v 15-25 AH batteries.

Ah, I see it now. Ok, so that pretty much runs that down. Do you think a cordless electric mower would work? Here is a link to one. Won't buy it new but there are always a ton of electric mowers on the used website for my area. The stats will give an idea.
