Electric Go Kart Question

Hey all,

My name is Charlie and I just finished the circuit for my electric go kart. I have 4 12v batteries, a 48v controller, and a 36v golf cart motor. Everything is pretty much done, I just need a way to charge the batteries. I've seen people on many forums just disconnect the batteries and hook them up to a charger, but I want to have a charger in the circuit. An example of this is the Z-Kart (on YouTube). The inventor has a retractable charging plug built into the kart. I just want to know the wiring setup for how to do that. Thanks!

does your controller way to hook up a charging port to it?
if its a scooter controller i know it does but you didnt specify what type you have.

It is a golf cart controller. How do I wire in a port for a charger?

not sure, there must be a way, golf carts can just be plugged in to be charged... maybe look up the golf kart model # or something and start there
