Electric Go-Kart Components

Hi Everybody,

I am new to this forum and very new to electric go kart building.

This year and next year I am doing a subject in school called Systems Engineering and for my project I have decided to build and electric go kart!

I have done hours of research so far and have found the following components. Please let me know whether they are all compatible and anything else that might be of value.

I am planning to use 4 12v 26Ah batteries combined with a 24V Electric motor as seen in the links below. As for the controller I am still not sure so any help on that would also be greatly appreciated.

I'm hoping to spend under $ 1000 AUD on this project.

Hey, have you picked out a speed controller for your motor yet? I plan on using the same motor, and I don't know very much about electronics, so I was just curious about comparing with other people's projects.

From reading the specs thats looking like a good set up
How are you planning to run the battery's as in series and parallel ?
