How strict are you guys about the diy thing?

I didn't make a kart rather I bought a cheap chinese thing with the intention of converting to electric. Is that good here?

I have been advised more than once to chuck these motors and just get a qs motor (and of course, esc to suit).... buut I got these 3 motors for half the cost of a good qs motor. Now I have a dream of mashing all these parts together to make a torque'y offroad kart

Turns out one of these motors is a different kv to the others. Kinda pissed me off. I'm thinking what to do now...

I really like this clip, was it filmed with a quadcopter in follow-me mode? Has a surreal and visceral quality. :cheers2:

I'm answering way way late, but of course it is good here.
It's excellent and a good use for the Chinese go kart. I am beginning to like these things because of the low cost, minimalist style and yet still in the spirit of a true go kart.

Whitetrashrocker has it. It's an insta360 x3 waving around on an extra long selfie stick. It cops a beating from smacking into leaves and bushes. I have protective lenses on but that doesn't stop them from getting dirty. This shot had water droplets and sand over the lens. I think I mentioned in a previous video that I busted the mounting point when I rolled my kart. Whilst it wasn't a warranty job insta360 had superior aftermarket service for the repair.

I have wondered about a follow drone but I don't think they are capable of following me in the kart. The dji air 3S has the highest follow speed but it really needs to be out in the open and super easy for the done to lock onto the target.

Action cams are slightly more versatile imo.

I have a mavic air 2. Im not sure if the follow function could follow that. To fast and close quarters. It will do 40mph but then the collision sensors are turned off.

Have you used the follow function? Can you show us any footage from that...? I'm still curious but not sold on the idea

There's lots of YouTube videos on it. I haven't used it my self yet.
Ive done some of the action flight shots though. Where it focuses on the subject and then flies around in different patterns. Kinda cool. But none of that is what I use. Manual all the way.

A second person following with the done would be ideal but unfortunately I don't know anyone i can rope into that 😕

That Jetson is fantastic. There's another one but cannot recall the name. The flying car in everyone's garage finally coming to fruition?

Anyway, the selfie stick has that interesting surging and retarding boing-boing motion. How long is it and what is it made of?
