electirc Kart upgrade

Not much time around here to do all the mods I want, but slowly and surely Ill get there...
Heres my latest:
Originally I had 4 batteries rigged over the back axle (not very well either) This put a lot of my Karts weight over the rear tires making steering and drifting difficult..
So I chopped out the bottom frame under the seat and went to work with my cheap welder. Now Ive got 6 batteries centered on the Kart. I lose a little power (48V to 36V) but I should gain a ton of runtime, which is more important with my little kids.
I had to raise the seat 1 inch and added a pivot point to the front and locking pins to the rear, making it easy to tilt forward for access to the batteries.

make sure to insulate all terminals the best you can,
you don't want any moisture bridging a gap from the batteries to the seat

yeah, still have a bit of work to do...
not sure yet how Ill insulate, possible just some heatshrink for now...
I do have a 100Amp fuse directly connected to every positive terminal, just in case something shorts out...

also still need to weld a bottom panel on to protect the batteries while off roading and find a good place to permanently mount the controller and shunt resistors...
