So my Aggie/KOL rebuild went to crap in the last few days. I posted on OMB about the front forks and am severely disappointed about the removal of them. They are bent to heck and wont be budged lightly..

So my rebuild is going to my Bird.. my chrome girl..

Yup.. handle bars are bent for now.. T'was crashed.. more than once ;)

I did the seat after the orig was destroyed from me and my buddies (several crash's) riddin'er..

Pant leg and trim nails... I hope for better soooner.. ;)

Looks like you have an El Tigre with custom bars added. I have the same bike in my basement. My needs redone as well.

Pant leg....lol.

So how many crashes was this thing in, and doesn't that say something about your ability to handle light powered vehicles... :D:D:D

Well... I put a 6hp on it when i figured the 3.5 wasn't enough and i wrecked it once.. I know my buddies have came back with skinned up knee's and elbows more than once on it with the 6hp.

I/We tend to push things beyond their capabilities and are always pushing each other. I have a circle track around the 5 acres I own and we time each other and try to beat it. Fun when there are 2 minis n the thumper (yamaha 90) running around it, Throw a kart or 3 in the mix and someones gonna wreck.. ;)

It is an El Tigre, they were also called "Birds" and a few other names. Yes the front forks and handle bars aren't original but you get what you get. I'll be replacing the handle bars with the same ones though, I like the look of it.

Disassembled the bike last night after I got back from feasting.

Im amazed it even rolled at all with the shape of these bearings.

Not impressed with the seats out there so im going to make my own (not out of a pant leg). I have the wood for a pattern and the foam is in good condition still.

Been soaking the frame and seat frame in engine cleaner since last night.

Bird is the manufacturer. El Tigre is the model. Yes, there is some other model that looks just like it. I have two Birds. An El Tigre and a Golden Pinto.

Rocking "Extension cord orange" for the forx n rims..

All my new parts come today and the paint is dry..

I used self etching primer on the rims after I wire brushed them down to bare metal..

Well the frame and seat frame are polished up and looking as good as they can for her age. There were some areas on the bottom part the chrome was flaking off but over all it's in great shape.

New bearings, shocks and bolts so far..

Going to go wrestle with some 6" tires and rims and get this to be a rolling chasis atleast today..

Waiting for paint to dry and my boy to come home to reassemble, ordered the custom seat cover and handle bars..

New bearings installed and new rubber on the rims.. Anyone trying to install new tires on small rims, best trick i learned was to get them tires warmed up..
