Any real-world advice? I applied for ME, but got my second choice of EE - yet, I'd rather stick with EE because it's something I know [much] less about. UT won't let me double major (or even minor!) in mechanical...

Lifestyle, salary, future-proofness, how broad is the work, etc?

Thanks!

They're definitely two different ballgames for sure. From what I learned about EE in my high school electronics class it seems way more complicated. Something about dealing with transistors only one or two atoms wide goes a little over my head.

I was initially going for ME, but decided to declare as MME (metallurgy and materials engineering) because it is a more hands-on program at Mines, where as ME is all theory here.
