Ordered a new piston from NR Racing.
Apparantly the pistons are edible. It says right on the box “supper quality”!
There were however no cooking instructions!

I called NR for potential recipes and they suggested frying it in SAE30 WT oil, while vigorously stirring at about 6500 oscillations per minute.
The Chinglish paper in the box said something about rice...

My favorite recipe is SAE10W30 with some metal shavings and and a bit of piston ring material, cooked at 3000-4500 RPM for sixty minutes.

Boiling them shavings first makes them super tender! Goes great with some Lucas assembly lube, so I heard.
