Dune buggy build

Bought this little buggy as a project for 40 bucks and wasn’t expecting as much is I got with it plan on making it into a desert racer dune buggy thing.

It's going to be small for a buggy. Not much ground clearance. Going to need BIG tires for what you want to do.

Progress

Got the engine all put together and cleaned up carb was in decent shape little rust. Now I am starting on electrical

I feel for you in the wiring department.

I just made a complete stand alone system for efi on my buildoff for a zx12r

Took covers off both sides of engine. Got bored waiting on parts. Good thing I did. Clutch plates were seized and rusted. Took clutch apart and cleaned everything (will wait on replacing clutch pads) also cleaned the alternator assembly and tested Ohm readings. All good. Old oil had water which would be why the clutch was frozen. Just need new oil and the ignition coils and I’ll be ready for startup. Also here is a pic of the finish wire harness.
