Dumb wheelie question

The adult trike I am building they want to wheelie it.
Now the dumb part, is a live axle the best way to go.
A diff or one wheel peel to me may not work right.

Opinions please

All could work ..
the problem with one wheel drive is traction;

the torque needed to lift the front end, might be enough to break traction
on the tiny patch a single wheel calls contacting surface.

So more wheels more better.. (wider wheels better than skinnier ones ;))

with that covered, and assuming the road beneath both wheels is identical and fairly level,
a differential or live axle makes not much of a difference really.

For a wheelie it doesn't make any difference at all
since if one wheel lost traction prematurely, either it'll spin and there'll be no wheelie.. or you converted the trike to a one wheel peel temporarily and it'll still be next to impossible to pop a wheelie

So yeah, two powered wheels.. diff or live as you prefere
(wider tyres ensure better grip)

"wheelie it" ?

...having the ability to lift front tire off ground with just power from engine. right

Live axle,

You would need symmetrical, straight, even power for control.

1 - wheel drive probably wouldn't have enough of a contact patch to provide the needed lift

& if it did, it would theoretically pull to one side (dead side creating drag)

If using a diff, I would think that a couple of pebbles or a slick spot would = control issues
