so i used to weld about 10 years ago . well i guess welding the parts stuck but i wouldn't make a building with it and i got OK w it . i bought my son a used kart for his birthday and the guy said it needed a tune up and it was fine .. ha stay away from crags list . well i am hooked . i fixed his and we did it together and then i got a one person frame for free and i have been going nuts ever since .so my project is a mini sand rail type that i am extending the frame 3 ft and making another seat behind the driver . i am taking the dead axle out and making a live axle i have kept it wide and low enough so it shouldn't tip over and the center of gravity should be balanced . i honestly only know vary little of what im doing so it should be interesting . most of what i know comes from t mans karts on YouTube . i have run out of material at the moment so my wife says until i sell some of my other toys she will kill me or we will be homeless if i get another .. im a man of hobbies ,

Remember, as you increase the wheelbase, you also increase the turning circle

... which probably means the steering geometry will need some work
