Going with a 1988 18hp Briggs twin opposed with a Stock Harley muffler. I think it looks good. Working on the jack shaft mounts now.

I tried my 40 series driven unit that way. The belt kept getting pinched and bunched up in the driven pulley any time I gave it gas Then I remembered 40 series driven units get flipped around and no more issues. A reverse wound spring is required to mount the driven in the same manner as the 30 series (as in the picture).

Took some measurements and made a new jackshaft / engine mount plate. Made it so both bearings will move when I tighten the chain.
Also added a 3rd axle bearing
I made shims to raise up the engine so the driven shaft bearing isn't in the engine tins.

Is there a chart or measurement for the shaft centers for the drive belt. Or how tight should the belt be?

Messing with a few ideas for the front end and dash. This is one. I like it.

Getting closer. Stop & Go next...

Focus on Go, Stop is overrated.

You only really need to be able to turn OR to stop. The ability to do both is just a fail safe. LOL

I was testing with no brakes and had a tie-rod come off. Ran into a bush like 2 blocks away. Little kids were laughing at me as I pushed the buggy home.

Looks Awesome. :thumbsup:It has come a long way from here...
